DAIWA has added its first baitcaster to the KAGE collection with the new KAGE SV TW 150 baitcasting reel. This compact and adaptable reel is loaded with DAIWA’s newest and most sophisticated reel technologies, the SV Concept and HYPERDRIVE Designs. The SV Spool on the new KAGE SV TW is a 34mm A7075 spool that offers a ton of casting control. The SV(Stress-Free, Versatile) design interacts with the braking system during the cast to give maximum control while at the same time increasing the cast’s distance. The KAGE SV TW’s second big feature is the HYPERDRIVE DESIGN. Initially, it was only for the highest-end baitcasters from DAIWA, but now, with “trickle-down technology,” the HYPERDRIVE DESIGN is available in the mid-range KAGEs. This combination of advanced manufacturing techniques, HYPER ARMED HOUSING, HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR, and HYPERDRIVE TOUGH CLUTCH significantly increases your reels’ performance and lifespan.

- Ultimate Tournament Drag (UTD) – The sophisticated drag system uses carbon washers, alloy, stainless steel drag plates, and special lubricants to provide smooth performance. UTD prevents sticking when dragging starts and stable drag for the duration of fighting a fish.
- Zero Adjuster – The spool tension knob comes ideally preset at the factory to match the model and reduce backlash when casting into the wind or with lighter lures. However, anglers can fine-tune the spool tension to their personal preferences.
