A “Kuna” is a peculiar name for those of us in the US because it has its origins in Croatia. A Kuna is a European Pine Marten, and is known as a formidable hunter in Croatia and holds the distinction of being the country’s national animal. This naming convention has also been applied to military units and is depicted on Croatian currency. Final Thoughts
The Springfield Armory Kuna is sure to sell like hotcakes as its most direct competitors are Century Arms imported knock-offs of an MP5 as well as the actual MP5 from Heckler and Koch.
