Daiwa is here at ICAST 2025 bringing in a very able and affordable spinning combo with the new D-Shock II Combo. This is a new line of budget-oriented spinning combos that are still very capable on the water. Made up of five different models of 2-piece spinning combos that range from 5’6″ to 7′, the new D-Shock II combos are a great choice for people just getting into fishing, no matter where they are in the country. The rods are all made with very forgiving fiberglass blanks with quality cork handles and titanium oxide guides. The reels all come prespooled up with Daiwa’s J-Braid X4 fishing line, so just tie on your rig and you are good to go.
