[ICAST 2025] Bates Fishing Co. NEW CNC’d Hundo’50 Casting Reel

Bates Fishing Co. is here at ICAST 2025 with their new Hundo’50 casting reel. This is a new 150-sized casting reel with a CNC precision-cut 6061-T6 one-piece body, which lets the reel put out more drag and torque without any worries of frame flex. This low-profile casting reel can put out 18 to 20lbs of max drag, and has a line capacity of 230 yards of 30lb braid or 180 yards of 12lb mono. It is available in three gear ratios, 6.3:1, 7.1:1, and 8.1:1, and will be available in both left and right-handed reel models. Additionally, for anglers who like to fish inshore as well, there is a Salty Hundo’50, a more corrosion-resistant model built to be saltwater tough. The Bates Fishing Co. Hundo’50 has an MSRP of $399.99 and should be available later this year.
