The decision to retire the original hood design stemmed from FALCO’s commitment to continuous improvement and user safety. The new safety hood maintains the same spring-loaded function as its predecessor but introduces a range of ergonomic and functional upgrades for duty professionals who depend on flawless gear performance.The thumb-activated release button has been repositioned for a more natural and ergonomic reach, significantly improving draw speed under stress. On the outer side, the hood’s hinge sits behind the plastic cover to ensure reliable function even when the holster comes into contact with rough surfaces or obstacles during active duty.
