Tiny Boat Nation, leader in small boat accessories and parts, is back here again at the NOEOutdoors North Georgia Fishing Expo, showing off a new generation of electric outboard for your jonboat, skiff, or fishing kayak with the new EPropulsion Spirit 2 electric outboard. First shown off last week at the Miami boatshow, the Spirit 2 electric outboard is a 2 kW (2000 Watt) 5hp outboard for anglers fishing from small crafts that either don’t want to deal with a gas outboard or are limited by the waters they fish. This next generation of outboard comes with a new upgraded battery system that is easily swappable with no cords needed and smarter controls with a full-colour digital display, which shows speed, battery levels, and power usage. Epropulsion also made the Spirit 2 a more rugged outboard, now with an aluminum tiller body and other ruggedized features, but still kept the unit light and portable. The whole outboard is capable of being taken off the mounting bracket and folded up to be easily carried inside.
The EPrpulsion Spirit 2 electric outboard is available for pre-order now and will be shipping this spring. MSRP is set at $4199.
