If you’ve ever spent time around serious bass anglers, you know many of them have their own ideas about gear, gadgets or little tweaks that could make fishing easier or more efficient.
Now a new nationwide contest is giving those anglers a chance to turn their ideas into reality, with a cash prize and help from well-known outdoors personalities for the winning concept.
The promotion, called Bass Bank, invites fishermen across the country to submit inventions or creative ideas that could improve time on the water. The contest is part of a new collaboration between Busch Light and Bass Pro Shops, but the focus of the program is encouraging anglers to share practical innovations that solve real fishing problems.

The goal is to tap into the creativity of everyday fishermen. Many anglers constantly experiment with gear, rigging, and boat setups to gain an edge or make their time on the water easier. The Bass Bank contest is designed to capture those kinds of ideas and potentially help bring them to life.
Submissions are open through March 22 on the contest website. Entrants are encouraged to submit ideas that address common challenges anglers face while fishing, whether that means improving efficiency, increasing comfort, or simply making the experience more enjoyable.
Entries will be judged based on creativity, ingenuity, real-world usefulness and overall passion for fishing.
The winning entry will receive a $15,000 cash prize intended to help develop the idea further. The winner will also participate in a working session with Chris and Casey Keefer, known as the Keefer Brothers, who are well-known in the outdoor industry for their work in fishing and hunting media.

Organizers say they are especially interested in ideas that make anglers stop and think, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
The contest is open to U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older, though residents of California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia are not eligible to enter. No purchase is required to participate.
In addition to the contest, the promotion also includes a limited collaboration with Bass Pro Shops that helped launch the Bass Bank campaign.
For anglers who have ever dreamed up a better way to rig tackle, organize gear or solve a problem on the water, the contest offers a rare opportunity to turn that idea into something bigger.
