My magnificent wife will tell you that I am not a fan of camping. Now, don’t jump to conclusions that I’m soft or a pansy or something. The issue is that I spent the first 30 years of my life living out of tents, freezing my arse off, and roughing it in the most extreme ways to hunt elk, mule deer, antelope, black bear, and anything that could excite your blood pressure via a rad life experience. Since I am approaching 40 now and can afford hotels, I come across as a greenhorn camper. While its quite the contrary, my wonderful wife is the only person who can convince me to camp anymore. So, when she accomplishes this feat, I want all the creature comforts… like, coffee! So, I was ecstatic to see that the YETI Rambler Pour Over was back. Nothing hits better than a peaceful, quiet morning in the woods and fresh, campfire coffee. So, in today’s AllOutdoor Review, we are going to take a look at the YETI Rambler Pour Over to see how it performs for a seasoned camper like me. Let’s dive in!

Specifications – YETI Rambler Pour Over
The YETI Rambler Pour Over has a modest MSRP of $30. Considering a fancy coffee dang near runs $10 nowadays, this thing will pay for itself after 3 – 4 uses. It will especially be appreciated if you’re tired, draggin’ butt, and are in need of a pick-me-up while camping or exploring in the outdoors.
We combined the classic pour over shape with our stainless steel insulation to give you an ultra-durable base camp brewer. It fits any V60 filter and works seamlessly with your existing Rambler Drinkware for backcountry blooms and first light roasts.

Field Use – YETI Rambler Pour Over
Now, onto the glamping, camping, and coffee drinking portion of this review. My wife, Andrea, and I headed to northern Minnesota to revisit a magnificent glamping site in North Shore Camping Co. Shameless plug for them as it’s always an amazing stay, and they aren’t paying or giving me anything to say that. Check North Shore Camping Co out, you’ll love ’em!
Now, how about that YETI Rambler Pour Over?… Simple in it’s design and appearance, it has several features that make it worthwhile and quite clever, honestly. From the top side, you can see that they’re stainless ribs throughout. This ensures that once you pour hot water onto your coffee grounds and filter that the filter doesn’t just suction-stick to the Pour Over. If that were the case, it’d take a long time for your Pour Over coffee to trickle out into your cup.
The rubber, exterior body of the YETI Rambler Pour Over was nice because it was tacky and gave you good dexterity when you’re dealing with boiling hot campfire water and coffee. I could easily hang onto the YETI Rambler Pour Over while actively pouring water ensuring I didn’t pour water onto myself and have a calamity of errors occur.
The recommended V60 filters fit perfectly in this size Pour Over, but they were only good for one use. If you tried to pour multiple attempts of hot water over your grounds, the filter would disintegrate (not YETI’s fault the filters can fail).
Overall, it was a quick and handy process if you wanted to make coffee in a jiffy in the morning. Plus, it created for great entertainment for our 6-month old, Forrest, to watch us go through the steps of making forest coffee for Forrest (see what I did there? Ha!).
Disclaimer: We did not give our 6-month old coffee. We’d totally wait until he’s at least 1 year old before we would do that.
Departing Thoughts – YETI Rambler Pour Over
So, what are my final thoughts on the YETI Rambler Pour Over in its Rescue Red colorway that we reviewed here today?… Overall, it is an extremely simplistic accoutrement to your camping endeavors, but in my book, it is worth every dollar of its asking price. Easy to wash/clean, easy to use, and it takes up very little space when packing it along. All in all, I absolutely recommend the YETI Rambler Pour Over.
In closing, I want to say thank you to YETI for allowing AllOutdoor and myself the opportunity to try out their YETI Rambler Pour Over in its Rescue Red colorway. That is greatly appreciated.
