Quantum Fishing is here in Orlando, Florida, for ICAST 2025 to let everyone know that the Quantum Cabo Spinning Reels are back. Voted Best of Category Saltwater Reel in the ICAST 2025 New Product Showcase, the 4th Generation of Cabo reels is the culmination of 20 years of Quantum spinning reel development. Now coming out in sizes from 2500 up to 8000, the new Quantum Cabo comes packed with modern features. Starting off with a Sealoq 8 system on the rigid aluminum frame, equivalent to the IPX8 standard, these reels can stay sealed with a 4ft deep dunk for up to 30 minutes. Inside the seals, the gearing of the Cabo is all GEARTEQ machined gearing that delivers a smooth and precise reeling feel while being very durable and capable of great cranking power. For the drag of the Cabo reels, it is the CFX200 carbon fiber drag system. This is capable of putting out 25 to 45lbs of drag force, depending on the reel size. And for the smaller reels, they all come with CASTEQ slow oscillation for superior line lay and casting distance, perfect for casting artificial all day. The new 4th Gen Quantum Cabo spinning reels have an MSRP of $249.95 – $299.95 and should be available in Quarter 4 of this year.
