Infante Ultrasonics announced two new accessories aimed at solving practical problems in ultrasonic gun cleaning: a Pistol Slide Support Magnet for optics-equipped slides and a Small Parts Basket for organizing small components.

The slide support magnet addresses the increasingly common scenario of pistol slides with mounted red dots. Ultrasonic cleaning typically requires full submersion, which damages electronic optics. Infante’s magnet system suspends the slide in the ultrasonic tank, keeping the optic safely above the cleaning solution while carbon and fouling get scrubbed from the rest of the slide.
According to Infante, the magnet “suspends your handgun slide inside the ultrasonic cleaner while keeping mounted optics safely above the liquid line.” Each package includes two magnets measuring 3 inches by 0.35 inches by 2.5 inches, with permanently attached M8 threaded studs for mounting to parts baskets. The set is priced at $29.99.
The system works with most handgun slides, accommodating both optics-ready models and those with optics already installed. As red dot sights have become standard equipment on defensive and competition pistols, this accessory fills a genuine need for shooters who want thorough cleaning without optic removal.
The Small Parts Basket tackles organization during ultrasonic cleaning. Springs, detents, screws, and pins easily fall through standard basket mesh or get lost in the tank. Infante’s basket uses 1mm mesh in a 5-inch by 2-inch by 2-inch stainless steel frame that drops into existing ultrasonic baskets. It’s priced at $39.99.
Build quality focuses on longevity. The full-length piano hinge resists warping and separation that plague cheaper alternatives, while a positive-locking clasp keeps the lid secured through vigorous ultrasonic cycles. The low-mass stainless steel construction minimizes interference with ultrasonic energy transmission.
