Speer has moved into the new year with a few surprises up their sleeves as they have been listening to their shooters and consumers. One common load for 9mm that shooters have been demanding is something comparable to self-defense loads, but in an appropriate range round; thus, they delivered to us the Speer Lawman 135 Grain TMJ ( Total Metal Jacket). Also, they have kept handloaders in mind by bringing 2 new reloading bullets to us that we’ll cover below.

NEW Speer Lawman 9mm 135 Grain Total Metal Jacket
First up, is the NEW Speer Lawman 9mm 135 Grain TMJ (Total Metal Jacket), which has an MSRP of $27.99 for a box of 50 rounds. This duty -grade ammunition carries all of the desirable attributes that we have come to know from Speer Lawman. Now, we simply have a grain weight offering that should more closely mimic the recoil impulse we feel when shooting our defensive rounds.

New Speer Impact Component Bullets
Next, are some component bullets via the Speer Impact lineup. The Speer Impact component bullets tout a molecularly fused jacket – to maximize weight retention and penetration upon impact of wild game – and you also have their slipstream polymer tip to increase your Foot-Lbs of energy downrange and to initiate low-velocity expansion. The two new bullet additions are a .243 caliber 95 Grain offering as well as a .264 caliber 156 Grain selection. Both of these reloading bullets are so new that they are not on the website yet.
