[SHOT 2026] NEW Colt Anaconda with Blued Finishes & Optic Mounts

While checking out all of the sights and sounds of Industry Day at the Range for SHOT Show 2026 (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade show), we found that Colt brought something new and modern with them in a revolver that we had not seen before. It was a Colt Anaconda that donned a blued finish and even had an optics mount on the top strap for adding your favorite red dot.

NEW Colt Anaconda with Blued Finishes & Optic Mounts

The new Colt Anaconda that we found at Industry Day at the Range had several features that we have either never seen before, or have not seen on a new reproduction of an Anaconda. The blued finish is something that Colt used to do back in the day, but this is the first time that we are seeing on a new model, reproduction. Also, this variant at SHOT Show 2026 had a wood grip with a softer and more gently curved heel to the grip. This gives the wheelgun a nice aesthetic, but is also comfy in the hand.

The other surprising aspect of this revolver is the optics mount that is perfectly inserted into the trench of the rear sight channel on the top strap. The fitment looks crisp, clean, and correct – not something that was close and was merely adapted to this model. Based on the optic that Colt had on their revolvers at Range Day, this new mount should be a Shield RMS/RMSc footprint. This is quite possibly the most popular footprint in today’s world of red dots. So, that was a good choice by Colt.

Final Thoughts

At this time, we sadly do not have any specs, pricing, or additionally information. This appeared to be a revolver brought to Range Day, but there were not extra details supporting it. We asked Colt a lot of questions, and they did not have any additional answers for us.
